The Small Glories
Roots powerhouse duo The Small Glories are Cara Luft & JD Edwards, a musical tour-de-force partnership planted on the Canadian Prairies. With a stage banter striking a unique balance between slapstick and sermon, these veteran singer-songwriters have a way of making time disappear, rooms shrink, and audiences feel as though they are right there on the stage with the band. Tuesday May 7th- 6:00pm
On May 7th, we will be presenting with the legendary Bill Miller (see billmiller.com) at the Westby Area Performing Arts Center in Westby. 6:00 PM will be a healing circle on stage that Bill will oversee. It's for anyone who's lost a loved one to addiction or fentanyl poisoning. Then at 7:00 PM, our program will start. We will show our video (on our website), speak a bit (raising awareness of fentanyl circulating in our community) then hand the night over to Bill Miller. He will speak about his journey, his hardships and his healing. He will also sing. But his main focus that night is on his speaking presentation. He is all about family and healing. Our guests of honor will be anyone who has lost a loved one to addiction or fentanyl.
